You can follow the number of clicks on one or more elements of each variation of your test very easily thanks to AB Tasty.
You can configure the settings from within the editor: select one or more elements, then click on the click tracking option in the contextual menu, and finally, name your objective.
The objective is automatically created in the report interface as indicated below. Under the objective’s name, we remind you that this is a tracking action, but we recommend that you always give a descriptive name to your objective to make it easier to read the results.
Important note: click tracking objectives must be defined before the test is started, because unlike URL objectives, we only record them in the database when they happen (reminder: URL objectives can be recreated after the fact: if you make a mistake setting them up, for example).
So there is no possible retroactivity. So be careful to set up all of the click markers you are interested in before starting your test.
