Before you can create a recommendation for email campaigns, it’s essential to integrate the AB Tasty Recommendations & Merchandising platform with the Brevo tool.
Step 1: Complete the Integration with Brevo
- If you haven’t already set up the integration, follow the Brevo Integration Procedure to connect the two platforms.
- This integration is crucial as it enables the exchange of data between the marketing automation tool (Brevo) and the AB Tasty platform.
Step 2: Enter the Brevo Feed
- Once the integration is complete, locate the field labelled ‘Brevo Feed’ in the recommendation configuration page.
- Enter the Brevo feed URL in the designated field.
The feed creates a link between your recommendation and the data provided by Brevo, such as product lists and user behaviours.
Configuring Additional Parameters
To enhance the effectiveness of your recommendation, configure the following parameters:
- Product Groups: Define groups of products to include in the recommendation.
- Filters: Apply filters to refine the selection of recommended products.
- Product Highlights: Highlight specific products within the recommendation.
- Exceptions: Exclude certain products or categories as needed.
- Options: Set additional options to customise the behaviour of your recommendation.
- Parameters: Configure advanced parameters for more granular control.
- Preview: Check how the recommendation will appear to your audience.
Save Your Configuration
After configuring all required and optional parameters, click the ‘Save’ button to store your settings.
Preview the Recommendation
Use the ‘Preview’ button in the top-right corner to visualise how the recommendation will appear in your email campaigns.

- Taking the time to configure each parameter will significantly improve the relevance and impact of your recommendations.
