Products groups

After setting up the Brevo feed, the next step is to define the product groups for your recommendation. These groups determine how products are selected and displayed in your email campaigns.

Step 1: Define Product Blocks

Rename Product Blocks:

Each product group is represented by a block. You can rename these blocks to reflect their purpose or the type of products they include.

Example: Rename blocks as "Most Viewed", "New Arrivals", or "Bestsellers".

Algorithm Selection:

Assign an algorithm to each block. The algorithm determines which products are included in that block (e.g., most viewed, recently added, bestsellers).

The final recommendation will concatenate the results from all blocks in sequence:

  • Products from Block 1 + Products from Block 2 + Products from Block 3, etc.

Step 2: Advanced Configuration (Optional)

Access Advanced Options:

  • Click the ‘Advanced’ button beneath each product block to configure it further.
    Set Product Limits:
  • Limit the number of products displayed for each block by adjusting the settings under the tabs named after your blocks.

Example:
Block 1: Display up to 5 products from "Most Viewed".
Block 2: Display up to 5 products from "New Arrivals".
Block 3: Display up to 5 products from "Bestsellers".

Shuffle Products:

Enable the option to randomly shuffle the products within a block to add variety.

Step 3: Adjust Display Order

Use the drag-and-drop system to rearrange the order of your blocks.
The display order of products in the recommendation will reflect the order of your blocks.

Example Configuration
Block Names:

Block 1: Test 1 (Best Views – Limit: 5 Products).
Block 2: Test 2 (Products viewed by the user – Limit: 5 Products).
Block 3: Test 3 (Bestsellers – Limit: 5 Products).
Result: The final recommendation will display:

5 Most Viewed products, followed by
5 Products viewed, and finally
5 Bestsellers.

Total Display: The recommendation is limited to 15 products.

Step 4: Preview Your Configuration

At any point, click the ‘Preview’ button in the top-right corner to visualise the results of your changes.
Use the preview to ensure the recommendation meets your expectations.

Step 5: Save Your Changes

Once you’re satisfied with the configuration, click the ‘Save’ button to finalise your settings.

Additional Configuration Options
You can further refine your recommendation by exploring the following options:

  • Brevo Feed: Ensure the feed from Brevo is correctly linked to the recommendation.
  • Filters: Apply filters to refine the selection of recommended products.
  • Product Highlights: Highlight specific products within the recommendation.
  • Exceptions: Exclude certain products or categories as needed.
  • Options: Set additional options to customise the behaviour of your recommendation.
  • Parameters: Configure advanced parameters for more granular control.
  • Preview: Check how the recommendation will appear to your audience.

A well-configured recommendation will result in more relevant and engaging email campaigns.
